Description

ADHD - Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a neuro development disorder I.e. a state arising out of problems in development of the brain. It affects around 5-7 % of children world-wide. The chateristics symptoms of ADHD are difficulties in attention and organisation, excessive amount of activity (hyperactivity, difficulty in sitting still for long) and a tendency to 'act without thinking', also called impulsivity. The central problem is that of a difficulty in inhibiting responses, i.e. poor behavioural or response.
